Position Title: Project Coordinator Department: 330B Reports To: Preston Kilgore FLSA Status: TBD (Exempt/Non-exempt) Prepared By: Human Resources Prepared Date: 08/26/2024 Approved Date: Summary: Create and execute project work plans, revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements of the project and customer requests, while managing day-to-day operational aspects of the project with limited supervision. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures. Manages and monitors project budget. Determines appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for project. Follows up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices. Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization. Accurately forecasts revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilization. Assures project legal documents are completed and signed. Identifies business development and add-on sales opportunities as they relate to a specific project. Holds regular status meeting with Job Shop Weld Manager and Operations Manager and other relevant personnel. Effectively communicates project information to superiors, purchasing and production managers. Resolves and /or escalates issues in a timely fashion. Possesses a thorough understanding of our capabilities. Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change. Managing the process of change effectively. Manages day-to-day operational and client aspects of the project. Sets and manages customer expectations while developing a lasting relationship with client that foster customer ties and relationship. Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions. Supervisory Responsibilities No direct personnel supervisory responsibilities. Supervisory responsibilities would include working directly with the Quote and Estimate Lead, Purchasing and Production managers to maintain project timelines ensuring a smooth and successful project completion. Qualifications o Minimum three years demonstrated experience in product sales and customer service in sheet metal fabrication. o Computer skills including Microsoft Excel. Word and Outlook. o Knowledge and understanding of sales, budgets, timelines and service. o Must be able to read and understand technical (i.e., drawings) and non-technical documents as related to the project. o Must be able to interface with both technical and non-technical personnel. o Must be able to communicate in a professional manner with customer, managers and pertinent personnel. o Must be skilled and flexible in planning, organizing, communicating and directly large sales projects.
