Certified Herbicide Applicator

We are currently seeking a skilled and Certified Herbicide Applicator to join our client's team in Phoenix, AZ. This is a direct-hire opportunity and a great opportunity to work with a reputable company!

Job Description:

As a Certified Herbicide Applicator, you will be responsible for the safe and effective application of herbicides to control unwanted vegetation. You will work on a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and municipal properties, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply herbicides and other chemicals according to prescribed methods and safety guidelines.
• Conduct site assessments to determine appropriate treatment methods.
• Mix and prepare herbicide solutions following manufacturer instructions.
• Operate and maintain application equipment.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatments and make adjustments as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of applications and associated activities.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding herbicide use.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
• Assist with additional landscaping duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid and current Certified Herbicide Applicator license.
• Proven experience in herbicide application and vegetation management.
• Strong knowledge of herbicide products, application techniques, and safety protocols.
• Ability to operate and maintain application equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or additional training preferred.
