Pinnacle Staffing is looking to fill an immediate opening for a Full time Manufacturing Engineering Technician position for our client located in Clearwater, Florida. 33762.


  • Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering Technician.
  • Location:  Clearwater
  • Salary:    $15.00- $25.00 DOE
  •  Schedule:  Mon-Thur - 7-4 - Fri 7-1 
  • Type:  Temporary to Permanent 


Summary: 

We are seeking a skilled Engineering Technician to join our clients’ manufacturing team. As an integral part of our operations, you will collaborate closely with engineers and manufacturing experts to ensure efficient production processes and high-quality outputs.


 Requirements:


Train:


  •  Train, assess, and supervise personnel.
  • Make sure all requirements are understood and properly executed.
  • Surveillance of processes
  • Redistribute / assign personnel as needed to keep production flowing.
  • Coordinate with Production Planner to move material to floor as needed.
  • Assess if a potential non-conformance is acceptable based on engineering documentation.
  •  Provide direction for operators based on non-conformances found during quality inspection.
  • Continual Improvement
  • Assess existing methods and documentation and identify areas for improvement.
  • Engineering Change Requests for documentation errors, tooling improvements



Support manufacturing operations:

  • Participate in Manufacturing: Assist in the production process, ensuring adherence to quality standards and efficiency goals.
  • Root Cause Determination: Investigate and resolve production issues by identifying and addressing root causes.
  • Vendor Relations: Communicate effectively with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve supply chain issues.
  • Collaborate with Machining Experts: Work closely with machining specialists to optimize manufacturing processes and improve product quality.
  • Contribute to Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks in manufacturing processes and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Establish Build Processes: Develop and refine manufacturing build processes to enhance productivity and consistency.
  • Create Work Instructions: Document clear and concise work instructions to guide manufacturing activities and ensure standardization.


Qualifications / Requirements

  • 2-year degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient at reading and understanding mechanical drawings.
  • Proficient understanding of and ability to accurately use measuring instruments.
  • Proficient communication skills.
  • Proficient with SolidWorks.
  • Must have keen attention to detail and quality.


Desired Qualifications 

  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience.
  • SolidWorks experience.
  • Related military experience.
  • Willingness to work varied shifts to support surge activities.
