Pinnacle Staffing is looking to fill an immediate opening for a Full time QC Inspector position for our client located in Longwood, Florida. 32750

  • Job Title:  QC Inspector - Machine shop, preferred experience
  • Location:  Longwood
  • Salary:   $15-19- Based on Qualifications
  •  Schedule: Mon-Thur - 7-4 - Fri 7-1
  • Type:  Temp to permanent


  • Accept or reject product, materials, or articles; identify and document nonconformances to engineering, specifications, & standards and notify appropriate personnel of potential rejection of items. 
  • Report discrepancies to Supervision and Management. 
  • Document inspection results of multiple product lines through the completion of reports and logs. 
  • Perform mathematical functions for weight measurements, torque conversions, and dimensional measurements. 
  • Perform visual inspection, continuity and/or resistance testing on various cables, harnesses, and connectors. 
  • Measure machined products utilizing comparators, calipers, micrometers, visual measurement devices, pin gauges, etc. 
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures. 
  • Track/record job progress and deficiencies daily in both written and electronic formats. 
  • Accurately record product information, traceability requirements, labor hours, and other statistics into computer databases to comply with company requirements.  

Qualifications / Skills

  • Must be able to conduct splice inspections
  • Must be able to conduct  contact pin inspection
  • Must be able to conduct soldering inspection
  • Must be able to conduct  grommet inspection
  • Must be able to conduct mechanical, visual and final inspections.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft excel.
  • Must be able to accurately use required measuring tools (ring gauge, pin gauge, micrometer, etc.) and perform basic mathematical functions. 
  • Must have keen attention to detail and quality. 
  • Must have had  exposure to a machine shop that would like to move into QC
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, except under abnormal circumstances. 
  • Must be proficient with data entry, and the use of computer resources. 
  • Ability to read and comprehend detailed work instructions and interpret drawings, schematics, specifications, and standards. 
  • IPC Certification to standard 620 and/or J-STD-001. 
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. 
  • Must be able to lift up-to 30 pounds.  

Desired Qualifications 

  • 2+ prior experience in quality assurance or as a Quality Control Inspector. 
  • Willingness to work varied shifts to support surge activities. 
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
