Pinnacle Staffing is looking to fill two (2) immediate opening for a Full time CNC Swiss Programmer position for our client located in Longwood, Florida. 32750
- Job Title: CNC Swiss Programmer
- Location: Longwood
- Salary: $25.00 Based on Qualifications
- Schedule: Monday-Friday - 1st. Shift.
- Type: Temp to Perm
Requirements:
- Load and unload raw materials, select cutting tools, and adjusting machine settings.
- Set up and operator CNC Swiss machines.
- Proficiently use gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements, as well as other hand tools and cutting tools.
- Reduce set up time and machining time through process improvements.
- Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications using tools such as calipers, height depth gauges, micrometers, rulers etc.
- Adjust machine settings and tool offsets as needed to maintain quality and productivity.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and machines.
- Assist in organization and maintenance of Machine Shop work environment.
- Utilize and abide by AS9100 requirements and safety procedures.
- Provide feedback and input for process improvement.
- Clear understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures in order to train newer employees/co-workers.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations and use geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Track/record job progress and deficiencies daily in both written and electronic formats.
- Comply with all quality policies and instructions.
Qualifications / Skills
- 3-5 years of CNC Swiss lathes experience.
- Certification in CNC machining preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Swiss Machinist, with a strong understanding of CNC programming, set up, and operation.
- Proficient at reading and understanding mechanical drawings.
- Proficient understanding of and ability to accurately use measuring instruments.
- Must have proficient knowledge of various CNC controls and M and G code.
- Ability to turn on, set up and operate Swiss with minimal assistance.
- Great communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be able to sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must have keen attention to detail and quality.
- Must be able to bend, stoop and reach.
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
- Must be self-sufficient.
Education
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent vocational training.
- Related military experience.
- Willingness to work varied shifts to support surge activities.
