Line Cook

Pinnacle Staffing is seeking a dependable and motivated Line Cook to join out kitchen team. The Line Cook will prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workspace. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality food and customer service.

Schedule: Friday-Sunday 6A-6P, Wednesday 2:00pm-6:00pm

Essential Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, soups, gravies, cereals, and other menu items following proper preparation methods
• Follow instructions from the Executive Chef and assist with daily meal preparation
• Set up assigned workstation and ensure all necessary supplies are available for each shift
• Maintain a high level of excellence in food quality, presentation, and consistency
• Learn and master kitchen skills required to execute menus efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area at all times
• Follow all local Health Department guidelines and food safety standards
• Assist managers with ordering and product/inventory management
• Assist with unloading deliveries and storing inventory properly
• Properly store, label, or dispose of leftover food items
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently (Spanish preferred)
• Basic math skills and ability to follow recipes and measurements
• Ability to follow written, verbal, and visual instructions
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and handle distractions effectively
• Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and workplace safety

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least 1 year of cooking or related kitchen experience preferred, but not required
