Position Summary:
Working with senior RF design engineers, design, develop and test transceiver sub-systems for mission critical public safety communication systems. Test for regulatory compliance and conduct engineering studies to improve performance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working with senior RF design engineers, participate in development of the following RF functional areas:
- Receiver front ends
- Zero or Near-Zero IF designs
- Transmitter power amplifier chains
- VCO and synthesizers
- Support regulatory and performance testing
- Execute test plans and generate documentation to ensure requirements are achieved
- Use software tools and test equipment to test electronic designs
- Design, debug and test digital, and analog circuits
- Support production facilities and interface with the Test Engineers and factory personnel on the testing and production of the products
- Perform other work-related duties as necessary
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong Excel, MS Word, Power Point, skills required
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills
- Good analytical skills
- Very detail-oriented, accurate and organized
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Qualifications:
- BSEE required
- Minimum 5 years of RF transceiver design experience
- Knowledge and/or experience with test equipment and software tools for electronics simulations, design, testing and documentation is also a must.
- Previous LMR industry experience with: Motorola Solutions, Harris PSPC, EF Johnson, JVC Kenwood or others is a plus.
