Skilled Traffic Control Technician

Job Summary
Independently set up, maintain, and tear down traffic control work zones while following all safety standards. Operate equipment, manage traffic control devices, and ensure safe, efficient worksite operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and remove work zones according to safety guidelines and project plans.

• Operate traffic control devices such as temporary signals, barriers, and message boards.

• Use equipment including forklifts, skid steers, and truck/trailer combinations.

• Accurately complete quantity sheets and perform additional duties as assigned.

• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

• Class A CDL or Class B CDL with tanker endorsement; ability to pass drug screen and DOT physical.

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

• Ability to work in all weather conditions and travel as needed.

• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime.

• Team-oriented with the ability to follow instructions and support coworkers.

Preferred

• 18+ years old.

• High school diploma or GED.

• At least one year of construction or traffic control experience.
