A growing tax and wealth advisory firm is seeking motivated, client-focused Junior Tax Planners with strong interpersonal and consultative skills. In this role, you’ll support senior tax professionals in managing client relationships, assisting with tax preparation, and implementing strategic planning solutions. Over time, you’ll take on greater responsibility for client interactions, participate in business development, and contribute to the delivery of integrated tax and wealth strategies.

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in client tax planning meetings, with a focus on relationship management and follow-up.
- Assist senior planners in transitioning client accounts while building trust and rapport.
- Help implement tax strategies that align with clients’ broader financial goals.
- Prepare and review tax returns and filings in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct tax research and stay current on compliance requirements and best practices.
- Collaborate with tax leadership and financial advisors to deliver integrated solutions.
- Contribute to business development efforts, including lead nurturing and closing support.
- Identify opportunities to expand services and enhance client value.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional tax experience, ideally in a CPA firm or financial services setting.
- Enrolled Agent (EA) designation or CPA eligibility preferred.
- Demonstrated client-facing experience with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Sales aptitude — ability to build rapport, understand client needs, and convey value clearly.
- Stable employment history (ideally 2+ years with a prior firm).
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Bonus: Experience in financial services sales or working in firms offering integrated tax and wealth planning.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary ($55,000–$65,000)
