Shipper $20.63/hr + 10% increase upon perm. If you have a class A CDL in good standing, it will add 50 cents per hour to you pay to jog trailers.
This position utilizes forklifts and overhead cranes for pulling metal product from warehouse and loading vans and flatbed trailers for shipment. It is to provide a concise, accurate, physically secure and neat looking package to external customers.
- Run overhead crane for staging, loading unloading on and off trucks.
- Sit-down forklift.
- Paperwork for shipping
- Steel toes are required
- Long work pants (canvas or denim).
- Sleeved shirts (t-shirt or long sleeve shirt OK) NO TANK TOPS!
- It is indoor, but bay doors are open all the time - so it is cold when cold and hot when hot.
- This is a HEAVY INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENT
- SCHEDULE: 7:30am-4:30pm, MON - FRI
- $20.63/hr pay rate (+10% increase if you roll permanent)
- Screenings conducted: E-verify; drug screen ; Background check
- Education: High school degree, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Prior factory experience preferred but not required.
