Installer Crew Qualifications

  • Possess and maintain your personally owned vehicle.
  • Able to show up to work on time for each scheduled shift.
  • Have a can-do attitude and take initiative to get things done correctly.
  • Aptitude to work autonomously with reliability.
  • Ability to understand direction and receive feedback.
  • Able to lift, push, pull up to 50-75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Able to physically twist, bend, and squat repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Capability in developing or reconfiguring floorplans for a customer.
  • Ability to understand and read blueprints.
  • Experienced and knowledgeable in assembling and disassembling the following modular furniture brands – Herman Miller, Knoll, Haworth, Steelcase, AllSteel.
  • Possess your tools and maintain them.
  • One to two years of experience is required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Possess a valid state driver’s license.
  • Maintain liability insurance coverage.
  • Must be able to pass an in-depth background check and fingerprinting for facility· badging. *Some places we work are strictly secure.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Willingness to demonstrate your knowledge, skills, and abilities before an appointment.

Required Tool List

  • 20-volt drill/driver with charger and extra batteries.
  • Various drill bits (Phillips, Flathead, Allen bits, Square Roberts bits).
  • Ratchet and Sockets – standard and metric sets.
  • Allen wrenches.
  • Rubber mallet.
  • Torpedo Level.
  • Pry bar.
  • 1/2-inch drill bit for toggle bolts.
  • Furniture slides – carpet and hardwood slides.

Your Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean uniform and neat appearance.
  • Review job specifications and notes before arriving onsite.
  • Call the client's point of contact and provide an estimated time of arrival.
  • Be friendly and kind. Make a great first impression.
  • Complete a walk-through with the customer to confirm expectations.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to occasional customer changes.
  • Protect floors, doors, and walls where needed.
  • Safely use flat dollies, carts, and boards to assist with your duties.
  • Openly communicate with all team members.
  • Maintain accountability of the moving equipment on your job.
  • Record and report to the warehouse supervisor any equipment left behind on the job site.
  • Report any customer damages to the immediate supervisor when they happen.
  • Keep your vehicle maintained and operational because you will use it for work.
  • Maintain insurance coverage, liability, or full coverage with the company listed as “additional insured.”
  • Able to keep cellular service and communicate with the main office and management.

Our Work Schedule

  • 8-10 hour shifts
  • Start at 07:30 a.m. *Occasional earlier or later start times.
  • Monday through Friday with occasional weekends.
