- Invoice Processing:Receive, verify, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system.
- Payment Management:Process and schedule timely payments to vendors and suppliers using various methods (checks, electronic transfers).
- Reconciliation:Reconcile invoices with purchase orders and statements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation for audit and tax purposes.
- Vendor Communication:Serve as a point of contact for vendors, resolving billing issues, disputes, or inquiries.
- Reporting:Generate reports on accounts payable status, outstanding balances, and upcoming due dates.
- Compliance:Ensure all activities comply with company policies and accounting regulations.
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Essential for handling financial data and avoiding errors.
- Organizational Skills: To manage multiple invoices and deadlines effectively.
- Communication Skills: For interacting with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues.
- Computer Proficiency: Experience with accounting software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and Microsoft Excel.
