Pinnacle Staffing Groups has partnered with a national leader in automotive repair, fleet service, tires and wheels dedicated to providing the best-in-class service to their customers. And due to expansive growth in the Des Moines market, our client is looking for a Plant Manager for their Retread Operations. This fulltime position is available immediately!
Responsibilities:
• Promote a “Safety First” culture and ensure exceptional quality in every retread process.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and tour-ready work environment.
• Facilitate clear and effective communication across management, sales, and production teams.
• Achieve production goals through strategic planning, scheduling, problem-solving, and inventory management. • Foster diversity, seamlessly onboard new hires, deliver comprehensive training, and support team development.
• Demonstrate and uphold company policies, ethical standards, and workplace integrity as a role model.
Qualifications:
• Preferred: 2+ years of management experience.
• Strongly Preferred: 5+ years of Bandag or similar retread experience or equivalent expertise.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows Office, BASys system, Teams, Excel, Outlook and iOS platforms.
• Skilled in troubleshooting equipment using tools such as voltmeters and pressure gauges, with the ability to perform mechanical repairs to specification.
• Thorough knowledge of maintenance requirements for NDTs, buffers, builders, and chambers. • Driver’s License required, with ability to pass pre-employment driver’s file.
