Office Manager Duties
Manage and develop the unit to maximize output whilst actively seeking to reduce costs.
Identify areas of investment and/or modification of facilities production equipment.
Help train and develop skills of production employees.
Actively support plant programs and goals – In particular with Units per manhour, Recordable incidents, Overtime budgets, customer availability.
Responsible for the initial training of production floor personnel from Assembler to Line Leader in accordance with SOP guidelines.
Coaches Line Leaders on the efficient use of lean production practices in order to meet/surpass production goals.
Coordinates tear-down and set-up of lines as instructed by Production Supervisor.
Takes lead and implement pre-determined plans in case of emergency.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees general office operations and gives reports to the management
- Coordinates appointments and schedules and manages staff calendars
- Manages filing systems and office supplies, maintains IT infrastructure and keeps inventory of orders
- Oversees staff interactions and responds to their queries on office management issues
- Monitors office management and designs innovative work systems
- Works with the Human Resources team to update office policies and onboard new hires
- Oversees guest experience, sorts of mail and answers direct phone calls
- Plans all in-house or off-site activities of the organization
