HAYSVILLE, KS
We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team immediately. This full-time role offers a 4-day work week, with optional overtime opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring our textile products meet all customer and internal specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and approve or reject outgoing textile products based on engineering and customer specifications.
Perform First Article Inspection (FAI), In-Process Inspection, and Final Inspection.
Conduct both visual and dimensional measurement tests using calipers, tape measures, and other precision tools.
Clearly communicate quality issues and required corrective actions to Production Leads, Supervisors, and Directors.
Accurately document inspection results, maintaining logs and reports in compliance with company procedures.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues while supporting production flow.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of continuous experience as a Quality Control Inspector in a manufacturing setting.
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, and use measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, etc. (Testing will be administered.)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Proficiency in using a computer for documentation and research (Microsoft Office preferred).
Physically able to stand for 10 hours/day, bend, lift, and carry up to 25 lbs.
Comfortable working in a non-aerospace, fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
