We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Services Associate to join our team located in Peoria AZ. As an Accounting Services Associate, your primary responsibilities will include performing basic to intermediate accounting tasks such as bookkeeping, account reconciliations, and payroll runs. You'll also be responsible for preparing payroll tax reports, preparing and filing forms 1099, and filing sales tax reports accurately and on time. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate on recurring services for clients, contributing to their financial success and building lasting professional relationships.

Duties/Responsibilities:
· Perform bookkeeping tasks to accurately record financial transactions.
· Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
· Execute payroll runs, including processing employee payments and deductions.
· Prepare payroll tax reports in compliance with applicable regulations.
· Compile and file sales tax reports accurately and within deadlines.
· Complete forms 1099 and ensure timely and accurate filing.
· Collaborate with team members on recurring accounting services for clients.
· Assist in additional accounting projects and tasks as assigned by management.
· Maintain organized documentation of financial records and transactions.
· Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
· Provide support during audits and financial reviews as needed.
· Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
· Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to address inquiries and provide assistance.
Skills:
· Ability to use accounting software to record, store, and analyze financial data.
· Basic understanding of bookkeeping practices and procedures.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
· Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree or better with accounting coursework preferred.
· 1-3 years of bookkeeping experience required.
· 1-3 years of personal or business tax preparation experience preferred.
