The Full-Service Digital Operator is responsible for interacting with varying levels of internal personnel requiring the ability to clearly communicate verbally, via electronic communication, and in written form. Effectiveness in this role requires the ability to operate and maintain RICOH toner based digital printing devices and other small bindery equipment.  The Digital Print Operator operates and maintains digital printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials, ensuring color accuracy, troubleshooting equipment issues, and maintaining production schedules. They manage print jobs, ensuring consistent accuracy and alignment to customer specifications. This role often involves working with various digital files, adjusting equipment settings, and performing basic maintenance.  Pay range $17-$19


Some of the roles and responsibilities include:

  • Maintain personal productivity and quality standards that meet or exceed company expectations.  
  • Follow systems and procedures outlined in company standard operating procedures/company handbook.  
  • Start and safely maintain digital print equipment individually, and with the help of virtual, over the phone, and in person support technicians. Read and understand job related production requirements communicated through a job production ticket and job, department, and plant-wide standard operating procedures.  
  • Safely locate, transport, and load paper and other consumables and replacement parts.  
  • Have an eye for quality and product inspection.  
  • Have the ability to operate other digital print related equipment including, but not limited to, hydraulic paper cutters, Duplo cut sheet finishing system, laminator, small folding machines, paper punch and binding systems, push carts and pallet moving devices, and other small bindery equipment.  


Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • The ability to communicate well and participate as a team member. 
  • An average mechanical aptitude. 
  • Meet or exceed minimum test requirements as specified by the hiring manager.
  • Experience on ROCOH toner based printing and finishing work is a plus! 

Preferred Skills

  • Print/copy shop or associated knowledge. 
  • The ability to work with software, computers, digital press, and small bindery equipment.
