We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Outbound Shipping Coordinator to oversee our outgoing shipment operations. This role involves ensuring timely and accurate shipments, maintaining compliance with shipping regulations, and collaborating with internal teams to meet delivery expectations. The ideal candidate will excel at logistics, communication, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule outbound shipments to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
Prepare and verify documentation for outgoing shipments, including shipping labels, packing lists, bills of lading, and commercial invoices.
Monitor orders and work closely with the warehouse team to ensure they are picked, packed, and ready for shipment.
Communicate with carriers and freight companies to arrange pickups and negotiate shipping rates.
Track shipments and resolve delivery delays or discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping regulations, including export controls for international shipments.
Collaborate with other departments to forecast and meet shipping demands.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in shipping and logistics.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with shipping software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with domestic and international outbound shipping regulations.
