We are seeking a skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead all aspects of warehouse operations for a high-reliability distribution and supply chain services provider. This individual will play a key leadership role in ensuring the efficient receiving, handling, storage, and shipping of microelectronics, semiconductors, and electronic components. The ideal candidate is strategic, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement warehouse strategies to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Manage, train, and mentor a team of Warehouse Associates
Oversee inventory control and ensure accurate stock levels and order fulfillment
Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Purchasing, Quality, Sales)
Maintain and improve warehouse management systems and technologies
Track and report key warehouse KPIs (performance, productivity, accuracy)
Ensure compliance with AS9100, MIL-STDs, and other industry-specific standards
Enforce ESD, FOD, and environmental controls for sensitive components
Manage warehouse budgets, labor planning, and equipment maintenance
Optimize logistics by coordinating with suppliers and carriers
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline warehouse operations
Plan warehouse layout and space utilization
Conduct regular audits of inventory, safety practices, and processes
Handle escalated issues including inventory discrepancies or quality concerns
Coordinate with e-commerce personnel to optimize fulfillment for online orders
Qualifications:
10+ years of warehouse management experience, ideally in the aerospace or electronics industry
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field
Proven experience implementing operational improvements and cost savings
Strong knowledge of WMS, ERP systems, and inventory control software
Familiarity with lean management and Six Sigma methodologies
Deep understanding of compliance requirements for electronic components and MIL-STDs
Demonstrated leadership and team development skills
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical abilities
Proficiency in Excel and data-driven reporting
Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to a safe work environment
Experience managing budgets and financial planning
Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001 quality systems
Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities
Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management skills
