We are seeking a skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead all aspects of warehouse operations for a high-reliability distribution and supply chain services provider. This individual will play a key leadership role in ensuring the efficient receiving, handling, storage, and shipping of microelectronics, semiconductors, and electronic components. The ideal candidate is strategic, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement warehouse strategies to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness

  • Manage, train, and mentor a team of Warehouse Associates

  • Oversee inventory control and ensure accurate stock levels and order fulfillment

  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Purchasing, Quality, Sales)

  • Maintain and improve warehouse management systems and technologies

  • Track and report key warehouse KPIs (performance, productivity, accuracy)

  • Ensure compliance with AS9100, MIL-STDs, and other industry-specific standards

  • Enforce ESD, FOD, and environmental controls for sensitive components

  • Manage warehouse budgets, labor planning, and equipment maintenance

  • Optimize logistics by coordinating with suppliers and carriers

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline warehouse operations

  • Plan warehouse layout and space utilization

  • Conduct regular audits of inventory, safety practices, and processes

  • Handle escalated issues including inventory discrepancies or quality concerns

  • Coordinate with e-commerce personnel to optimize fulfillment for online orders


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of warehouse management experience, ideally in the aerospace or electronics industry

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field

  • Proven experience implementing operational improvements and cost savings

  • Strong knowledge of WMS, ERP systems, and inventory control software

  • Familiarity with lean management and Six Sigma methodologies

  • Deep understanding of compliance requirements for electronic components and MIL-STDs

  • Demonstrated leadership and team development skills

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical abilities

  • Proficiency in Excel and data-driven reporting

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to a safe work environment

  • Experience managing budgets and financial planning

  • Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001 quality systems

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities

  • Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management skills
