Our client is seeking an experienced Service Technician - Arcade Game Installer.


To be a successful arcade game installer, you'll need a blend of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and customer service skills, including the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain arcade machines, as well as communicate effectively with customers. 


Technical Skills:

•    Electronics Knowledge: Understanding of low and high voltage systems, wiring diagrams, and electronic components is crucial.  Some components we work on are computers, LCD monitors, and power supplies.

•    Troubleshooting & Repair: Ability to diagnose and fix issues with arcade games, including identifying faulty components and performing repairs.  Can diagnose to a component level but not needed.

•    Tools & Equipment: Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, multi-meters, soldering irons, and other equipment necessary for installing and repairing arcade machines.  

•    Preventative Maintenance: Knowledge of how to perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure arcade machines are in optimal working condition. 

•    Installation: Ability to install and transport arcade machines, potentially including lifting heavy equipment.  We use hand truck dolly, pallet jacks, four wheel dollys, and forklifts.

•    Transportation: Must have a drivers license and a working vehicle.  Able to get a medical examiners card for driving a box truck.

Problem-Solving & Customer Service Skills:

•    Communication: Ability to clearly explain technical issues to customers and provide solutions. 

•    Customer Service: Friendly and helpful attitude, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints. 

•    Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with other arcade staff. 

•    Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks efficiently. 

•    Patience and Calm Under Pressure: Ability to remain calm and patient when dealing with difficult situations, customers and/or rowdy children
