Our client is seeking an experienced Crew Lead with construction and traffic control planning background.
Job Description:
Overseeing traffic control plans and managing set up of each job
Placing and maintaining cones, barricades, signs, and other safety equipment to create safe work areas.
Monitoring traffic flow, identifying potential hazards, and taking appropriate action to prevent accidents.
Manage materials, equipment, and manpower effectively, ensuring they are available when and where needed.
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with workers and mentoring staff
Address issues and challenges that arise on the job site, finding solutions to keep the project on track.
Familiarity with traffic control regulations, techniques, and safety procedures.
Ensuring that the work area is clear of hazards and that traffic is flowing safely.
Assisting with other tasks as needed, such as cleaning up debris or providing directions.
Requirements:
5+ year’s experience with traffic control plans
Previous construction background
Ability to stand for long periods and work in various weather conditions.
High School Diploma or Equivalent
