Butcher

Pinnacle Staffing Group is seeking a dedicated Butcher to join our team and contribute to the production of high-quality meats, including jerky, meat sticks, specialty smoked products, and fresh retail cuts. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and want to be part of a team crafting award-winning meat products. 

Job Responsibilities: 

Processing Whole Animal Carcasses – Break down entire carcasses into individual cuts, following company standards and customer specifications. 

Custom Butchering – Assist in butchering home-raised animals, particularly on scheduled days like Wednesdays, working closely with customers to fulfill custom cutting orders. 

Retail Meat Preparation – Prepare fresh meats, including beef, pork, chicken, lamb, buffalo, and elk, ensuring accurate labeling and attractive product displays. 

Production of Smoked Meats & Snacks – Participate in crafting signature smoked meats, beef jerky, and snack sticks, following established recipes and maintaining high quality standards. 

Customer Service – Engage with customers, assist with meat selections, provide cooking advice, and fulfill special orders for a positive shopping experience. 

Maintaining Cleanliness & Sanitation – Keep workstations, tools, and equipment clean and sanitized, following strict food safety regulations. 

Inventory Management – Stock displays, monitor inventory, and rotate products to ensure freshness and prevent spoilage.

 Equipment Operation & Maintenance – Safely operate meat processing equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure efficiency and longevity. 

What We’re Looking For: 

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. 

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. 

Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn. 

Prior experience in manual labor or food processing is a plus but not required.
