As a Meat Plant Hygiene Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene standards of a local meat processing facility. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary environment in compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards. 


Key Responsibilities: 


•Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with sanitation protocols. 

•Develop and implement sanitation procedures, including cleaning schedules, sanitation protocols, and hygiene practices. 

•Train employees on proper sanitation techniques and procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment. 

•Monitor and maintain inventory of sanitation supplies and equipment, ensuring they are properly stocked and in good working condition. •Collaborate with other departments to address sanitation-related issues and implement corrective actions as needed. 

•Perform routine sanitation tasks, such as cleaning equipment, floors, walls, and processing areas, according to established protocols. •Document and maintain records of sanitation activities, including inspections, cleaning schedules, and corrective actions taken. 


Requirements: 

•High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in food safety or sanitation is preferred. 

•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. 

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members at all levels. 

•Ability to work independently and take initiative to address sanitation issues proactively. 

•Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
