Wood Saw Operator – Full-Time
Location: Newton, KS
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: Paid Internship, with a pay raise after 30 days
Benefits: Employee profit sharing
The Pinnacle Groups is currently seeking a motivated and reliable Wood Saw Operator to join our team in Newton, KS. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and hands-on mechanical skills to be part of a growing and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and maintain woodworking machinery such as saws, planers, routers, and sanders.
Cut, rip, stack, and band wooden stakes and components according to blueprint specifications.
Load raw materials and adjust machine settings to maintain optimal efficiency.
Inspect finished products to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
Perform basic maintenance checks and routine cleaning of machines.
Package finished goods for shipment or storage with proper labeling and documentation.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and maintain a safe work environment.
Operate a forklift as needed (minimal use).
Qualifications:
Proficiency in hand tools and mechanical equipment is required.
Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with material handling.
Forklift experience is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and detailed instructions.
Must be able to lift 50–75 lbs regularly.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus.
Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
