HR Generalist - Part Time

Job Description: 

Works closely with leaders across the company to design, develop, and deliver high quality talent acquisition, talent management and talent retention processes and programs. 

Utilize HRIS/HCM systems for human capital management and quality reporting. 

Ensures proper documentation of Team Member HR records. 

Participates in orientations and assists with developing programs to onboard new team members to the company’s culture, core values, procedures and customer service standards. 

Provides specialized advice on HR matters to employees and leaders. Adheres to and ensures that policies and procedures align with the state and federal regulation and best practices. 

Performs HR customer service functions by answering routine, day-to-day HR questions, needs, and inquiries, providing world-class service and providing guidance to leaders to the right resources to ensure quality and timely solutions. 

Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. 

Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions. 

Assists with the preparation of the performance review process. 

Assists with processing of terminations. 

Manages the Talent Acquisition process and assists with recruitment and interview process. Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9. 

Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks. 

Participates in HR investigations. Uses good judgement to escalate when appropriate. 

Partners with leaders to appropriately address concerns, helping to ensure the Company drives to the right resolution. 

Produces and analyzes reports to identify talent trends including being able to and ways to measure effectiveness of initiatives and programs. 

Helps drive overall Team Member engagement using data and identifying trends.

Qualifications 

A minimum of 4 years of human resources management and employee relations experience. 

Experience with talent management and HCM best practices, employee benefits, recruiting, training, and employee engagement required. 

Experience with HRIS/HCM system like Rippling, UKG, Workday, etc. 

Experience and proven success in planning, leading, and implementing human resources processes, initiatives and projects. 

Curious and comfortable with ambiguity, can shift gears without angst, and decide and act without having to have the total picture. 

Comfortable making decisions. Ability to influence without direct authority. 

Ability to work comfortably with all levels of leadership. 

Ability to work amongst numerous distractions and take work direction from more than one person and prioritize accordingly. Highly discreet and able to maintain confidentiality. 

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 

Excellent team player with skills to effectively communicate with a diverse team. 

Excellent time management skills and the ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines. 

Self-starter with a sense of extreme ownership and displays a commitment to quality and teamwork. 


Education 

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience required.
