Job Title: Traffic Infrastructure Project Manager
Reports To: Traffic Infrastructure Manager
Direct Reports: Foreman and apprentices
Job Summary:
The Traffic Infrastructure Project Manager will oversee and manage traffic infrastructure projects and operations in Des Moines, IA. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing projects related to traffic systems, including signalization, roadways, and transportation networks. Have a strong background in traffic signals, infrastructure management, and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and oversee traffic infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Manage the installation, and maintenance of traffic signal systems and signage.
- Work closely with local government agencies, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project alignment and effective communication.
- Ensure all traffic infrastructure projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Evaluate the performance of traffic systems and infrastructure, making recommendations for improvements based on data and feedback.
- Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and allocate resources effectively.
- Address and resolve issues related to traffic infrastructure, including system malfunctions and safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, progress reports, and compliance records. Provide regular updates to stakeholders and prepare final project reports.
Qualifications:
- IMSA Level II certification is required.
- Proven experience in traffic infrastructure management.
- Strong knowledge of traffic control systems, road design, and transportation regulations.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for traffic analysis and project management.
- Ability to work effectively with government agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Must be able to be insured under company vehicle insurance policy.

- Capability to work in various environmental conditions and manage project-related physical tasks.
