Manual Machinist Description: Operate tools and equipment to produce or repair precision mechanic pieces 

Read blueprints to determine what equipment and materials are necessary for the job 

Follow the blueprints to create the appropriate tools and components

Operate your machines to grind, cut, and polish the materials 

Create tools and other components using a variety of equipment, such as a lathe, a drill press, a micrometer, and grinding machines. 

Finish projects using manual tools Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure they remain in good working order Physical stamina is vital for working on your feet and around loud and large equipment. 

Must be detail oriented, patient, dependable, willing to learn. 

Qualifications for manual machinist include a high school diploma or GED certificate. Completion of a machinist program at a vocational school or an associate degree in a related field is preferred. 

Need to provide own tools. The client will provide the large tools. ls.
