Pinnacle Staffing is looking to fill an immediate opening for a Full time 2nd Shift CNC Brake Press Operator for our client located in Lake Mary, Florida. 32746. Must have metal fabrication experience and be able to read and understand orthograhic views.

Summary
The CNC Press Brake Operator will operate a press brake machine to bend, shape, cut, and manipulate sheet metal and metal plates in accordance with production specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate computer-controlled press brake machinery to produce formed parts for further manufacturing processes or as finished products.
Program and operate CNC press brake equipment to bend, form, and straighten metal sheets and parts to precise specifications.
Utilize advanced CNC controls, including bend aid and laser technology, to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Work with materials up to a maximum bed size of 10.5 feet.
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to determine appropriate machine setup and material requirements.
Set up and adjust press brake machines, including selecting and configuring dies, punches, and back gauges.
Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
Inspect completed products for conformance to specifications and quality standards, making necessary adjustments.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and 6S housekeeping standards.
Accurately complete production and quality records, including In-Process and Final Audit Reports.
Exercise authority to place HOLD tags on products suspected of nonconformance, as part of Nonconforming Material Reporting (NCMR).
Qualifications and Skills
Proven experience as a CNC Press Brake Operator (recent experience preferred).
Must be able to read and understand orthographic views.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent attention to detail.
Familiarity with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting processes.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Willingness to work on 1st or 2nd shifts as required.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Safety and PPE Requirements
- Wear required safety equipment, including safety shoes and glasses, at all times.
- Hearing protection must be used in posted areas and is optional in unmarked areas.
- Gloves must be worn when handling materials.
- Clothing should provide adequate coverage and protection against accidental scrapes from sharp edges.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
