We are seeking a reliable and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team on a full-time, temp-to-hire basis. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our apartment community, performing a variety of tasks to keep our units in top condition.
Responsibilities:
• Perform general maintenance and repairs in apartment units, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Turn apartments from start to finish, ensuring units are ready for new tenants.
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently and effectively.
• Complete work orders and ensure that all repairs meet safety standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of properties and systems, identifying potential issues and performing preventative maintenance.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition.
Qualifications:
• 2-3 years of experience in apartment maintenance industry.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Must have own tools and be able to perform a variety of maintenance tasks.
• Ability to turn apartments from start to finish (painting, cleaning, basic repairs, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of apartment maintenance practices, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
