  • Chemical Engineer (PE) – Join a Leading A/E Design Firm Specializing in Complex Projects!


    Pinnacle Employer Services is partnering with a dynamic and innovative A/E design firm renowned for its expertise in delivering complex MEP solutions for the semiconductor industry, as well as Mechanical, Civil, and Structural projects for land development. As the company continues its rapid growth, they are seeking a talented Chemical Engineer, PE to join their team of multidisciplinary experts. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in high-impact projects that shape the future of chemical manufacturing and processing plants.


    Key Responsibilities:

    As a Chemical Engineer, PE, you will be responsible for the design and development of chemical plant piping, processes, and control systems (P&ID). Your key duties will include, but are not limited to:

    -Innovative Design: Lead the conceptualization, engineering design, analysis, and documentation of hardware, process gas, and chemical supply systems for cutting-edge manufacturing environments.
  • -Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project coordination and delivery, maintaining schedule and budget integrity across all stages.
    • -Problem Solving: Provide input on design reviews, constructability, and the optimization of systems to meet aggressive design and construction schedules.
    • -Interdisciplinary Coordination: Spearhead efforts to ensure the integration of chemical processes with mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural designs.
    • -System Optimization: Evaluate and enhance chemical equipment and processes to maximize performance while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
    • -Equipment Selection: Specify and design measurement and control systems, select equipment, and develop detailed construction documents to ensure smooth project execution.

    The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

    • -Experience: 5+ years of experience in the consulting engineering industry, with a focus on chemical engineering.
    • -Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a PE license in Arizona.
    • -Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Bluebeam. Strong knowledge of NDS, AISC, ASCE 7, ACI, and International Building Codes.
    • -Collaboration & Communication: A proven ability to work independently and within a team, with excellent communication skills across multidisciplinary teams.
    • -Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when it comes to construction documents, specifications writing (CSI Masterspec), and field inspections.
    • -Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of chemical processes, particularly in separating components of liquids or gases and generating electrical currents.
