Jr Accountant/Accounts Payable Specialist - Temp - Hybrid - $38-$43/hour

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional for a 5-month temporary, full-time opportunity.

This role will focus primarily on Accounts Payables with an established public entity. Your meticulous attention to detail will be fully utilized to ensure proper expense allocation and multiple approval layers. This role also assists with month end and credit card reconciliations. Excellent opportunity to work with a small, supportive team while managing full-cycle accounts payables.

• Location: Hybrid – Onsite in downtown San Francisco 2x/week

• Start Date: November 03

• Duration: 5 months + possibility to extend

• Schedule: Full-time, normal business hours

• Background Check: Clear criminal background check & credit check required prior to start

Jr Accountant/Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities:

• Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process

• Ensure proper invoice coding, funding sources (experience with grant funds is helpful)

• Coordinate multiple approvals accordingly

• Assist with month-end and credit card reconciliations

• Other accounting-related duties as assigned

Jr Accountant/Accounts Payable Specialist Qualifications:

• 2+ years of accounting experience, accounts payable focus required

• Proficiency in Excel, MS Office

• Public accounting experience is highly preferred

• Able to work on site in downtown SF up to 2x/week

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
