Accounting Project Coordinator (Construction) – Temp /Temp-to-Hire – Novato – $30–$38.46/hour

We’re seeking a tech-savvy, detail-oriented accounting professional to support project financials and assist with draw processes. Construction experience is a plus.

Location: 100% onsite in Novato (½ mile from SMART station)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible hours
As a Project Coordinator, you will:

Track and manage project-related financials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Prepare monthly draw requests for lenders (AIA G702/G703 forms, lien waivers, invoices, and change orders)

Coordinate draw meetings and establish draw schedules with lenders and project stakeholders

Review and verify subcontractor invoices, lien releases, and compliance documentation

Assist in organizing and maintaining project binders and documentation

Support certified payroll and prevailing wage compliance

Collaborate with project coordinators and assist with reporting and tracking in Excel
As a Project Coordinator, you bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

2+ years of solid accounting experience

Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reporting)

Tech-savvy—comfortable learning new systems (experience with Viewpoint/Spectrum is a plus!)

Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a deadline-driven environment

Organized, self-motivated, and eager to jump in where needed
