Part-Time Accounting Assistant - Temp 2 days/week - Novato - $27-$30/hour
A highly regarded nonprofit providing essential services across the North Bay is seeking a Part-Time Accounting Assistant to support basic administrative and accounting functions. This is a great opportunity for an entry-level accounting candidate to gain hands-on experience working closely with the Senior Finance Lead in a mission-driven environment.

Location: Onsite in Novato

Schedule: Two days/week (ideally Tues & Wed), 8:30-5pm

Background Check: Clear criminal background check required

Pay: $27 to $30/hour depending on experience
Part-Time Accounting Assistant Responsibilities:

Assist with accounts payable using SAGE software

Perform data entry into Excel, scanning, filing, and document organization

Follow up on emails and general finance-related administrative tasks

Support the Senior Finance Lead with day-to-day operations
Part-Time Accounting Assistant Qualifications:

Entry-level accounting or finance experience preferred

Proficiency in Excel (basic formulas) & Word required

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
