You will:

  • Maintain the annual work plan and/or grantmaking calendar in collaboration with other team members.

  • Create and process grant applications and reports utilizing proprietary system. Collaborate with members to coordinate the interdepartmental approval/declination process of expedited grants within various systems.

  • Coordinate the development of outcomes templates for grant agreements. Serves as an intermediary with grantees during the outcome’s negotiation process, including multiple rounds of revisions.

  • Collaborate with team members to generate and deliver grant agreements. Follow up and track completion and execution with the Grants Management team.

  • Maintain professional relationships both internally and externally, responding promptly to inquiries or requests from applicants, grantees, donors, and the public with appropriate information.

  • Provide logistical support for grantmaking and programmatic objectives, attending meetings, site visits, workshops, and convenings, as required.

  • Collaborate with the Communications Team to assist in the logistics of events as they relate to the department.

  • Gather pertinent data and statistics from established sources and conduct program-related research in relation to preparation of reports and other materials.

  • Assist in preparing program contracts, process invoices, track payments, and monitor fund balances.

 

 

You have:

  • B. A./B.S. preferred, or AA degree required, along with five years of additional work experience.

  • Two years of experience managing projects, including direct responsibility for overseeing projects from inception to delivery.

  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of work. 

  • Proficient writing, editing, and proofreading skills coupled with the ability to gather and organize information effectively.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) and the ability to effectively learn and utilize additional technology systems.

  • Strong strategic planning and implementation skills, coupled with research and synthesizing abilities.

  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, efficiently managing daily tasks, multiple requests, and projects, while handling long-term assignments.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills encompassing listening, interpersonal, oral, presentation, and written abilities for multiple and diverse audiences.

  • A high degree of professionalism, judgement, and flexibility, enabling effective collaboration with clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

  • Proficiency in both written and spoken Spanish is a plus.
