Shipping & Receiving Lead – Manufacturing Facility
Location: Charlotte, NC
Shift: 1st Shift | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Shipping & Receiving Lead to support daily warehouse and logistics operations at a well-established manufacturing facility in Charlotte, NC. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a motivated self-starter who takes ownership and leads by example.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute all inbound and outbound shipping and receiving operations.
Coordinate and work directly with domestic OTR and LTL freight carriers.
Prepare, review, and process shipping documentation accurately.
Ensure inventory accuracy and proper material flow.
Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work environment.
Support and guide team members while working collaboratively.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong working knowledge of OTR and LTL carriers and shipping processes.
Computer literate with the ability to navigate systems and documentation.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable.
Strong math and comprehension skills (mandatory).
Ability to lead, communicate, and work well with others.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Fluent in English (verbal and written).
