Candidate will be responsible for contributing to a cohesive and efficient environment. You will work with the executive chef to plan and implement menus and specials. Other responsibilities include training and supervising line cooks & dishwashers; schedule staff; inspections for safety and sanitation; assist with special events and banquet functions; be resourceful when problem-solving. You will report to the Executive Chef and line cooks, prep, cold, and dishwashing personnel report to you.
Considering the setting, you will also be in contact with Club members and their guests. You will conduct yourself in a highly professional manner and ensure that those you supervise do as well.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1-3 years experience in an UPSCALE environment
ability to read & interpret documents, speak and work with vendors/suppliers/members/employees
proficient in Outlook and internet applications, word processing, spreadsheets
basic math calculations and measurement
valid driver's license
ability to sit, stand, use of limbs, balance/stoop/kneel, move/lift 20-50 pounds, close vision
