Entry-level Office Clerk to assist with a Data Entry assignment. The purpose of the position is to do an accurate inventory count on our supplies. The ideal candidate will need to travel to our different offices across Santa Barbara County and Los Angeles County. The days of the week are Monday to Friday. Mileage will be paid. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Because all Archdiocesan employees represent the Roman Catholic Church, they are expected to conduct themselves according to the goals and mission of the Church in performing their work. • Performs general clerical work. • Enter information into a database with accuracy and efficiency • File • Scan documents • Remove staples from documents • Performs other duties as assigned • Travel will be required to different locations across the Los Angeles County and Santa Barbara County MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience Any combination of education and experience likely to provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, typically: • Active member of a Roman Catholic faith community. • High School Diploma or equivalent. • Bilingual skills in English/Spanish (a plus) • Valid California Driver’s License. Knowledge and Abilities Knowledge of: • Modern office methods and procedures. • Record-keeping techniques. Ability to: • Operate computer system and related equipment. • Occasionally lift up to 20 pounds. • Sit for sustained periods of time on a daily basis. • Perform tasks requiring intermittent bending, stooping, and walking. • Sustain frequent movement of the fingers, wrists, hands, and arms. Job Types: Full-time, Temporary Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
