Position Summary: Prepares and assembles finished goods for shipping according to each individual order requirement, and organizes and maintains cooler/freezer inventory. Essential Functions: • Assembles orders for shipping using customer bills of lading. • Picks and assembles orders accurately and quickly onto pallets utilizing the FIFO system. • Assists in weekly and monthly inventory sessions. • Assists with loading and unloading of finished goods, raw drum products, bottles, boxes, and other supplies. • Maintains and organizes products in cooler and freezer using the FIFO system to assure product quality and freshness. • Assist Lead Order Picker in tracking of short code product for rework purposes. • Assists in organizing and preparing customer sample orders for next-day shipping. • Works to keep coolers and freezers clean and orderly. • Assists production and bottling operations if necessary. • Inspects all job assignments for quality and completion. • Follows all company policies and procedures regarding GMPs, SOPs and Quality standards. • Other duties as assigned or required. Qualifications: • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. • Experience: Some warehouse or food production experience preferred. • Language/Communications: Ability to read and interpret basic instructional details and related information. • Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. • The employee will be required to: o stand; walk and sit for long periods at a time o lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. o Wear the proper protective equipment as required. o climb a ladder or stairs frequently. o hear and communicate readily. o use both hands and arms frequently. o be able to see (good sight) with or without the use of eye wear. • The noise level in the work environment will be loud. • Must be able to use all office equipment (PC, phone, fax, copier, etc.) • Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes, open toed shoes, and jewelry are not permitted.
