Forklift Driver
• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Some warehouse or forklift experience required.
• Language/Communications: Ability to read and interpret basic instructional details and related information.
• Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
1. Must be capable and qualified to operate a forklift and all heavy trailer equipment.
2. Operates all equipment safely, maintaining proper speeds and clearances to ensure all personnel, materials, and equipment are safe at all times.
3. Maintains yard, shipping and staging areas in a clean and organized fashion at all times. Report any unsafe conditions to supervisor immediately.
4. Pulls and prepares product to be shipped using FIFO methodology when necessary.
5. Records product movements and/or interplant transfers and acknowledges receipts and/or shipments.
6. Stack boxes of finished products onto pallets when required.
7. Conduct appropriate preventive maintenance activities on forklifts and operate in a responsible manner that is in line with company’s SOPs.
8. Coordinate loading of finished goods for customer shipments and unloading of supply (boxes, caps, bottles, pallets, raw drums, etc.) deliveries.
9. Verify Julian date on bill of lading manifest during verification process on customer orders before loading.
10. Verify packing quality of finished goods before shipping to customers.
11. Support other plant operations when needed.
12. Follows all company policies and procedures regarding GMPs, SOPs and Quality standards.
13. Other duties as assigned or required.
