Associate Risk Manager Position Overview Under the general direction and supervision of the Risk Manager, this position is responsible for identification and assessment of potential risks to Cast & Crew and to support the management those risks consistent with the company’s overall risk strategy. Additional responsibilities include administration of the corporate risk management and business continuity programs. The Associate Risk Manager will work closely with our risk manager, legal department, all levels of management and colleagues within the company as well as production companies, insurance brokers and insurance carriers. Responsibilities • Support the implementation of an overall risk management process for the organization • Timely, and with a sense of urgency, assess and approve or escalate production company High Risk Activity requests • Timely, and with a sense of urgency, assess and approve or escalate production company Foreign Travel requests • Respond to production company insurance inquiries and needs • NY Disability & NY Paid Family Leave quarterly reports, invoices and claimant support • Hawaii Medical Insurance enrollments, reports, monitoring, and administration • Support a quarterly actuarial report and summary of results • Support the ongoing needs of the company’s business continuity plan including semi-annual updates • Maintain a record of insurance policies and keep summaries of insurance current • Develop and maintain a calendar of recurring items including insurance renewals; policy audits; TPA audits and adjustments; program and broker fee adjustments; insurance collateral adjustments; actuarial data submission; business continuity department updates • Gather information required for the annual insurance renewal submissions • Prepare insurance applications and submission for review by the Risk Manager • Contribute to the Quarterly Business Report prepared for the company’s executive management • Back up Senior Claims Assistant in Certificate of Insurance issuance and New Client Packet needs • Review contracts and agreements (leases, suppliers, customers, and services) to ensure insurance adequacy and indemnity provisions are acceptable • Prepare risk reporting documents tailored to the relevant audiences • Additional responsibilities as assigned Minimum Requirements • Customer Service orientated • Functions with a sense of urgency • Strong analytical skills • Attention to detail • Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree, CPCU and/or ARM a plus • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the risk and insurance industry Core Competencies • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team • Effective time management and organizational skills • Ability to exceed expectations in a fast-paced environment • Excellent judgment and discretion • Ability to prioritize and successfully manage multiple demands while meeting or exceeding deadlines • Is tactful and uses diplomacy • Ability to build constructive and effective relationships with production companies, brokers, insurance companies, coworkers, and others • Promotes a positive team culture
