GENERAL SUMMARY The Associate Media Director will report to the Media Director and primarily focus on local strategic planning for the Lexus Eastern Area to include Broadcast, Digital, Print, OOH. The job also requires some travel within the East and presenting to clients. Key responsibilities will include leading annual planning for 20 markets. Working closely with Zenith to ensure the proper execution and management of all broadcast investment. Managing/responding to on-going client requests, market level reporting and overall education of the local team and clients. Utilizing all applications of research including Nielsen, Com Score and Ad Relevance. Partner with the Western Account team. The ideal candidate must have experience in local media planning; specifically spot broadcast, digital and search. Experience with streaming video, programmatic digital and social a plus. They will be proactive market experts, always looking ahead to anticipate client reactions and the marketplace. Expected to investigate and develop create media opportunities that will enhance the overall media plan. They must possess excellent presentation skills (written and verbal) and experience managing others. ¬¬¬ Day to Day: 1.Manage, train and oversee the regional LDA media team for the Eastern Area and the 20 LDA groups it represents. 2.Day to day responsibility for preparation and maintenance of market and area plans and projects. AMD should take the lead in establishing way to make these projects more insightful, time efficient and creative. 3.Ensuring accurate financial accountability and maintenance on media plans at all times. 4. Strengthen daily communication with the field teams and Zenith buyers and maintain positive relationships. 5Develop POVs on a variety of media opportunities and provide guidance to Assistants and Planners. 6.Maintain positive relationships with the Media community. 7.Take ownership of LDA projects and ensure accurate, insightful, creative wand timely results. This will include setting goals, due dates, mentoring and managing a team. 8. Development of client presentations for various dealer meetings using power point or other presentation tools. 9. In depth understanding of LDA policies, strategies and best practice. 10.Inspire and encourage CORE behavior.
