Member Solution Specialist
As a Member Solution Specialist, your work directly supports the financial well-being of our client’s members by managing past-due accounts with professionalism, care, and integrity. In this collections-focused role, you will play a critical part in identifying solutions that help members resolve delinquencies and regain financial stability—while protecting the overall health of the organization. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic, member-focused environment.
LOCATION: Portland, OR
SALARY: $22-23/hr. DOE
SCHEDULE: Part-time; Monday-Friday | 3:00pm-7:00pm

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide exceptional member service while supporting team goals and upholding confidentiality.

Monitor and manage delinquent, overdrawn, and charged-off loan accounts in accordance with policy.

Contact members to resolve delinquencies, develop repayment plans, and handle deceased member loan accounts.

Conduct credit checks, skip tracing, and loan-related research; recommend appropriate account actions.

Maintain accurate records, manage electronic documentation, and support compliance with all regulations.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

High school diploma or GED required; 6+ months of collections or related experience preferred

Strong communication, customer service, and professional interpersonal skills

Proficient in basic math, problem-solving, and use of standard business software

Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and adapt to ongoing learning and team collaboration
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires regular verbal communication and active listening, as well as frequent movement including standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands. Occasionally, the employee may need to lift or move items up to 25 pounds.
