LOCATION: Vancouver, WA

SALARY: $30-38/hr DOE 

SCHEDULE: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Temp-to-Hire

THE ROLE

As the HR Generalist, you will play a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations by providing day-to-day HR support to both employees and leadership including employee relations, performance management, employee development, recruiting, and onboarding. The ideal candidate for this position will have a few years of recent HR generalist experience, coaching skills, and the ability to foster a culture based on integrity and respect. A background check and verification of a college degree required upon acceptance of an offer.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develops relationships, and serves as a partner and advisor to leadership across HR disciplines

• Provides all recruitment, onboarding, recognition, training, and development for employees

• Provides guidance, support, and recommendations for resolving complex disciplinary concerns

• Advises and trains managers and supervisors in employee relations, engagement practices, and strategies

• Demonstrates and maintains open and honest communication to foster a culture based on mutual respect and trust

• This is a completely in office role based in Vancouver, WA and will also travel to our Camas and Hillsboro, OR locations 2 to 4 days per month.


SKILLS AND MUST-HAVES

• 2+ years of HR generalist experience, including employee relations and recruitment

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Proficient with HRIS systems, Paylocity preferred.

• Manufacturing experience required

• Strong MS Office and Excel skills required

• Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and procedures
