Leading defense firm seeks talented paralegal with Med/Mal experience!

LOCATION: Portland, OR
SALARY: $77,000 - $81,000 a year

SCHEDULE: Full time, Mon – Fri, Hybrid

THE ROLE

Do you have at least 3 years of experience as a Medical Malpractice paralegal in Oregon? Join this inclusive, committed firm in providing the highest quality of service to their clients. A collaborative team environment awaits!

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation

• Draft pleadings and other legal documents

• Manage discovery process

• Organize and review medical records

• Perform legal research as needed

• Assist with trial preparation, including trial binders, exhibits, coordinating with experts

SKILLS AND MUST-HAVES 

• At least 3 years of experience as a Med/Mal Paralegal at a law firm

• Strong trial preparation experience

• Understanding of medical terminology

• Demonstrated expertise in document management, including organizing and managing medical records, and producing documents for discovery

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and consistently deliver high-quality work
