LOCATION: Portland, OR
SALARY: 53k-60k DOE
SCHEDULE: Full Time, Monday-Friday, In-Person (1 hybrid day after training).

THE ROLE
This is a great opportunity for candidates with at least 1 year of legal experience to become part of a successful team. This role has room for growth and long-term stability. This role will work closely with the paralegal and attorneys. Candidates should be eager to learn and grow with a positive attitude. Practice areas include Business Law, Real Estate, and Intellectual Property, Bankruptcy, and Debtor. Excellent role for a self-starter!
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with document preparation, formatting, and proofreading
• Use Microsoft Word and Adobe to format and edit documents
• Manage calendars and scheduling
• Communicate directly with clients and maintain client files
• Proofread and edit legal documents
• Organize files and documents using document management software
SKILLS AND MUST-HAVES
• At least 1 year of experience working in a legal setting directly supporting an attorney
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including grammar and spelling
• Ability to proactively follow through on projects to completion
• High level of organization
• Ability to learn new software quickly
• Excellent Microsoft Office and Adobe skills
• Ability to maintain competing priorities and deadlines
