LOCATION: Sacramento, CA.

SALARY:      $70,000 - $80,000(DOE) | Exceptional benefits package

SCHEDULE: M-F – 8:30 am – 5 pm

INDUSTRY: Law - Civil Litigation and Defense

THE ROLE

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Litigation Secretary with expertise in Civil Litigation. Ability to work independently and handle a busy desk. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a priority with paying attention to spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

Primary Responsibilities

Schedule appointments and organize attorney’s calendars

Prepare, revise, and format correspondence, discovery, court forms, motions, and legal documents

Focus on litigation deadlines

Coordinator meetings and depositions with all parties and courts. 

Scan incoming mail and download documents filed

Skills and Must-Haves

• 5 years plus of Litigation (Personal Defense is a plus)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, or Abacus
• Typing 45 wpm
• Strong organizational and time-management
• Excellent written and verbal communication
