LOCATION: Vancouver, WA
SALARY: $20.50/hour day shift, $21.94 once moved to swing shift
SCHEDULE: Train on day shift: M-F 6am-2:30pm, will move to swing shift: 2:30pm-11:00pm Temporary-to-Hire
INDUSTRY: Manufacturing
THE ROLE
In this role, you are responsible for loading and unloading products on large industrial machines, reporting and troubleshooting mechanical issues, and monitoring product quality. You will train on day shift and then will move to the swing shift. Background check and drug screen required upon acceptance of an offer.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Load material on/off industrial machinery
• Monitor product quality
• Report and troubleshoot machine breakdowns
• Pack finished materials
SKILLS AND MUST-HAVES
• Machine Operator experience in an industrial setting
• Basic mechanical knowledge
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to follow written instructions
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Previous experience in paper converting industry preferred
