Are you a team-oriented, client-focused individual, with great attention to detail? Come join this global hydraulics company in their manufacturing team. This is a direct hire role with eligibility for their great benefits and generous time off policy. 

 

LOCATION: Clackamas, OR

SALARY: $22-28/hr

SCHEDULE: Full-Time, Temp to Hire, Mon-Fri 8a-5p (Flexible start and end times with an 8 hr shift)

 

INDUSTRY: Hydraulics


THE ROLE

The Valve Assembly Technician will work with the Operations and Service team to produce high-quality hydraulic power units and other assemblies for the customer base. We are seeking candidates that can use technical drawings and written and verbal instructions to layout and fabricate custom projects.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assemble and test hydraulic components through SYSTEC+ or with the use of build sheets.

  • Inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing hydraulic components (when required).

  • Setting up and running performance tests, pumps, motors, and valves on the hydraulic test bench.

  • Ability to learn to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic components (when required).

  • Engraving new model code plates for newly assembled and/or repaired components.

  • Supporting the company with a positive attitude and working with customers as needed.

  • Responsible for the cleanliness and housekeeping of the assembly areas.

  • Minimal travel required to customer site and/or for corporate learning

SKILLS AND MUST-HAVES

  • Must have a strong knowledge of mechanics and their operations.

  • Must be able to read and understand hydraulic schematics and blueprints.

  • Basic computer (Windows-based) skills and MS Office package

  • Valve assembly experience.

  • Experience engraving and using codes.

  • Hydraulics knowledge and understanding.

  • Fluid Power education or knowledge.
