Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bilingual Payroll Clerk to process weekly payroll for a high-volume, multi-client workforce. The ideal candidate is organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable handling sensitive information while working in a fast-paced staffing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll for temporary and contract employees
- Review and verify timesheets for accuracy and compliance
- Enter and maintain employee payroll data (rates, deductions, garnishments, PTO)
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws
- Respond to payroll inquiries from employees, clients, and internal teams
- Assist with payroll corrections, adjustments, and audits
- Support payroll reporting and recordkeeping
- Collaborate with recruiters and account managers to resolve payroll issues
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of payroll experience (staffing or high-volume payroll is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
- Proficiency with payroll systems and Excel
- Ability to meet strict weekly deadlines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience with certified payroll is a plus
- Bilingual is Spanish and English
