MEMCO is hiring for a Steel Fabricator/Welder in the Marietta area!
Full-time and Long-term
Schedule: 7am-4pm
Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Steel Fabricator/Welder to join our customer's team. This role involves fabricating, fitting, and welding structural steel, rebar, bollards and other miscellaneous steel with quality and precision. Candidates with previous experience are highly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble steel components according to shop drawings and blueprints
- Weld, cut, grind, and fit materials
- Inspect work for quality & accuracy
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Loading and unloading deliveries using machinery such as forklifts
Requirements:
- Prior experience with production or steel fabrication
- Must be able to pass the required drug screening
- MIG welding or TIG/Stick a plus
- Ability to read blueprints/shop drawings
- Familiarity with manufacturing machinery and equipment
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in shop and outside in all types of weather
